I was very impressed with the entire event! Every day started with a keynote speaker who set a very nice tone to the day! Then it proceeded with technical presentations to then move to a panel discussion ! Each section was a key component to the day and build quite nicely!
The topics selected were so well picked! The knowledge sharing, combined with innovative tools, techniques and technology were a great learning experience! I was also impressed with the participation! Never had I thought that the summit would have an audience from all over the world, attending at even late at night!

I was honored to be able to attend the 2021 Project Control Summit. Hearing from the various speakers provided me with an opportunity to refresh on certain Project Controls topics. Also was able to learn from what others in the industry are doing in their respective Agencies/Companies.

I enjoyed attending the Project Controls Summit. A wealth of information was made available for those who are new to the profession. I would like to see a expanded foot print to address any current challenges/issues that our colleagues may be experiencing with existing data base software that is currently in use for executing EVM, Portfolio Management, and Agile Project management (I.e. Primavera or Delteck Open Plan/Cobra, MS Project). Having representatives on the panel to conduct workshop and up to date training on the new software updates would increase the abilities of those attending the summit and be of benefit to their organization. I am sure that the vendors of these tools would be more than happy to support this summit in the future. I would also think that you could expand your foot print and get more participation from companies sending employees as representatives to obtain this up to date explanation from the SMEs of the software that they are using in their day to day execution of project management.

Through enterprise project control, i gained more knowledge to tackle challenges in project. Also through schedule communication in this summit it elaborate more on needs of field and executive communication requirement, schedule analysis, reporting based on requirement of stakeholders and Clients. More insights about delay and to use all possible means to eliminate disputes in Project by proper financial and time negotiation. Because disputes resolution are complex thereby making it costlier and most times affects relationship of both Client and Contractor.

I found seminar very informative.

First of all, a big thanks for arranging the summit with great legends whose insight towards project controls were mind blowing. The content used and the interval for every topic was designed in a way that it can cover maximum information's in lesser topic.

My favorites, first day topic on "Cost Management Best Practices & Lessons Learned", as I am a cost controller with 20 years of experience I was able to corelate the challenges they faced and also there were learnings on how to handle different situations. Second days topic "Evolution – Earned Value Management, Earned Schedule, and Science" by Walter Lipke, he nailed it. The presentation was so engaging as you will not even try to blink your eye. Earned schedule was a new topic to me and thinking to further reserch on the topic. Apart from this all other topics were equally good and well presented.

Wish I could attend – I contracted Covid and was too sick- Still inrecovery – hope everyone else enjoyed it

The Summit was great and beneficial. I so liked it as it opened my eyes on a lot of things.
But there is a need to adjust time from 1hr for a session ti about 30mins to 45mins
I also propose that topics on the same or related subject should be discussed same a day or halfday following on each other calling for aggregation of topics.
Overall it was inspiring. Looking forward ti the next summit.

I have attended so many international conferences and I would say for sure that project control summit was carefully planned by professionals who are good at what they are doing. The presentations were the most interesting part for me because all the lectures were mind blowing. Kudos to all the presenters who took out time to prepare their lectures as they were all explicit. I am proud to say that I gained quality knowledge which I can apply in executing any project. I look forward to being able to partake in future summits.

I have learned lots of techniques of how to be more effective, T-shaped Project Control Professionals really made me inspired of how will I improved to my works not to stick to what I'm doing now and can lead our department in much and effective way and achieve my goals. What makes you up at night? is another topic that sometimes am really encountering it esp. when I'm facing lots of work not accomplished on time or with some important things to make my executive reports better and well understood by the MD and other major stakeholders. In general the whole summit contributed a lot to me and I'm quite sure I can apply all those topics were delivered by great and well experienced top managers. As this was my first virtual summit experience, I was surprised at the volume of content that was presented. I was not able to attend all sessions, but visited a few and was able to have the session open on my screen in the back ground. The presenters were on point with their content and it covered all aspects of Project Controls. There were contents there as well for those new to Project Controls and those very experienced.
The Networking feature was also a great feature even thought I was not able to take advantage of it. But by the fact that it was there makes all the difference. When attending an in-person conference, one of the best part is being able to network with other in your discipline and to learn from their experiences as well as sharing your experiences.

Hello, I went to PMI CCRS page for claiming my PDU's but 2021 sessions are not available on the system (just 2020), so there is no way to report PDU. Also, for executive members and above should be a full sSummit certificate with PDU splitted by Technical, Leadership and Strategic in order to properly report all at once

2021 Project Control Summit was informative and educational.
I was able to attend the whole seminar from home via online since I am currently unemployed but actively applying for work opportunities.

In today’s data-conscious age, it’s not easy to manage suck kind of informative webinar. Over all the arrangement was up to mark. Such kind of webinar are helpful to organize the professionals all over the world on single platform to share their experience /skills.

All of the presenters and their presentations were spot on, professional, and relevant.

The 4 days Summit organised by Project Control Academy on the basis of awareness and training to more than 4500 + Members in the field of Project Control with handon training in Latest advance software's and Specific Knowledge from Experts which will unprecedented achievement which will benifite the project control monitoring professional in the real life .

With the majority of the world having to work and communicate remotely, I greatly appreciated this virtual conference's presentation subjects and the feedback that those attending were able to provide. I also was especially appreciative of the open forums with several experts that collective discussed their perspectives and experiences with the group. I found those very informative and insightful.
I cannot describe in words how invaluable this Summit was for me in networking with leaders in their particular fields that I've never met as well as reconnecting with colleagues that I have regularly talked with when attending other annual conferences in the US.
I was also unfamiliar with the different courses that Project Controls Academy provided and certainly appreciated the exposure that this Summit provided in those different portions of Project Management as well as Project Controls. I am very interested in professionally getting exposure and training in fields where my current position may not provide me and becoming a better "T Shaped" professional. I fully understand the business side and that Project Control Academy can not provide Certificate of attendance if you haven't paid for or attended free as guest, but the same you raffle $700 bonuses, maybe you can raffle certificates of attendance based on participation.

It was an interesting and expository experience at the PCSUMMIT 2021 from the opening gala to the final day sessions. Great summit and without travel, hotel and meal costs. After a year of video meetings and such this forum is an affordable way to learn and share project controls knowledge. This was the first summit and it can only get better. The value the speakers and hands on experience is great. Project controls is all about measurment and how to create baseline comparison to know if the project is on track or not. My work did not allow me the time to set aside so I had to join and unjoin depending upon my workload and meetings. The VIP option to watch the summit afterwords is excellent and I will look t this option next year. Thanks so much at improving the skill levels of all of us in the field of project controls.

It was great to meet and collaborate with all the people. The presentations were excellent, l enjoyed a lot. Will be further exploring project Controls that were shares.

It was a good experience attending the live sessions and listening to some of the top experts on Project Control and Planning Field. My only issue was the timing and the schedule of the summit. The dates and timing coincided with Muslims holy month of Ramadan and during the Eid day. But still it was a great overall experience.

There are always oppurtunity that comes to a career and this has been one of those for me.
It was for me a learning and discovery after the PC Summit. Learning because there was wisdom that was shared in the conference that is new to me and discovery that what has been my challenges has also been experienced and faced by other planning practitioner. The only low point was that there were discussions that lacks depth maybe for a reason that the time is limited. But there were eye opener for a generalized topic and I thank so much Shoreh, Kamran and the team for giving this oppurtunity not just for me but my colleagues in this profession.

I had fun with the PC Summit and felt like it delivered great value, especially if the attendees participated in the program to get access to the recordings for sessions they could not attend. There was a good and diverse range of people, presentations, and topics, so I think there was something for everyone in project controls.

My only suggestion for improvement would be to allot more time for questions and answers, our panel could have discussed our integrated project controls design process for hours! When I present in person at a conference, I am realizing that while the sessions are typically only an hour as well, I tend to stay afterwards and chat with those who line up to ask questions, and often wind up sitting at lunch or dinner continuing the discussions.

Not quite knowing what to expect with a multi-day virtual conference spanning many time zones, I was extremely impressed! The caliber of the presenters was top notch and the coordination of the speaker events for their time slots was well managed.
Having been involved building a multi day conference from the ground up, I am quite aware of the amount of effort it takes to make the event a success. In this case, your team did so flawlessly. From all the Technical Presentations from the Presenters, I came to realize that Global Project Control are being enriched via Intelligent Data Governance, Modelling, Security and Integration. The Summit was absolutely a great one, Organisers were well-prepared and I yearn to be part of their next edition of 2022.

Data governance, Modelling, security and Integration defines roles, responsibilities, and processes for ensuring accountability for and ownership of data assets across the enterprise. It analysis, design, building, testing, and maintenance.
Also, it talks about acquisition, extraction, transformation, movement, delivery, replication, federation, virtualization, and operational support. Ensuring privacy, confidentiality, and appropriate access.

It is a system for defining who within an organization has authority and control over data assets and how those data assets may be used. It encompasses the people, processes, and technologies required to manage and protect data assets.

Consequently, the scopes for Cost Estimation, Scheduling, Planning and Project Financing were not ignored in the overall engagements. These will help me during my future preparation for Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification Examination.

Overall, I found the conference very well organized, interesting, and up-to-date. I was pleased that it was leaning towards infrastructure projects.
Most of the presentation were pretty good, but four of them had major impact on me: T-Shaped Project Controls Professionals (Shohreh Ghorbani), Schedule Communication Using Primavera P6 ™ (Hannah Schumacher), Predictive Control: Why real-time data and algorithms aren't enough (Sanjeev Gupta) and The Benefits and Use of TIME-LOCATION Schedules (Aldo Mattos).
After all of these years using Earned Value, it was an honor to hear Mr. Walter Lipke.

The brief introduction to the speakers, chat box to ask the questions and further the technical debates amongst and with the experts was a cherishing experience as well.

The topics covered a wide range which of on point categories which was very beneficial. The presenters were well prepared and answered questions fully. One of the sections, tools and technology highlighted the positive characteristics of current program mgmt software…very helpful! I would highly recommend this course and plan to take again next year!

An outstanding project controls summit! Project Control Academy has really outdone themselves with the incredible educational virtual summit held for four days May 11 – 14, 2021 by convening best in class professionals to share their expertise in communications, technology solutions, schedule and cost analysis and interpretation and risk analysis. I learned a great deal of invaluable information. I look forward to the next 2022 summit in person!

I enjoyed the ones I attended and I am looking forward to reviewing the recordings to catch what I missed. It would have been better for me if you had provided specific times for each one so that I could have planned to attend more in person. My commitments didn't allow for me to be online the entire time and that is why I paid to have access to the recordings.

What a wonderful event…Only wish I could just dedicate the timeframe to be completely involved.

Very positive and open summit organizers, amazing sponsors, very intelligent and knowledgeable speakers and presenters, and very interesting topics uncovering a lot of vital issues, all contributed to the tremendous success of the summit. This well organized and very insightful event is very useful not only because it helps every participant to maintain their excellence bar that they set for themselves and build new connections, but it is charged throughout with so much positive energy and mood that it motivates and challenges every participant to go above and beyond at work and their personal life. Knowledge is power, and it's never too late to learn and step out of your comfort zone. I had a great pleasure listening to all speakers. Among my favorite speakers who inspired me most of all were Julie Owen, Debra L. Lelly, Kamran Akbarzadeh, Shohreh Ghorbani, Chris Carson, Aaron Beverly, and many others. All panel discussions were very insightful and thought provoking. I admire Shohreh and Kamran for their knowledge, efforts, hard work and intelligence as without them this event would not take place. It was a great honor to be exposed to all the aspects of the summit. I would recommend this experience to everyone.

Project management summit is great platform to study how to manage projects in better way. It's easy to understand every seminar of summit. Every speaker explain there presentations in simple and understandable language. They provided useful information and there experiences.

Useful, professional, and practical

The sessions were very engaging and informative. I was able to find that spark of passion once more within project controls.

I've not been practicing in PC over the last two years, as my role has changed a bit, however, I am looking at stepping back into that space. This forum helped that!

It’s an educative , informative and insightful program.

Thank you, PCS team, for organizing wonderful submit. This event gave us more insight on the software and tools used for plan, monitor and control the project of various sizes. This gives me an international exposure on the system and software used. There are some processes which learned during this submit which improves and added additional value to my future projects.
Good thing is that the most of the speakers are from construction field. Mostly the project management or control class or submit will mostly focus on IT industries. For this I am thankfully to PCA team.
The main impediment for me is the timing. It starts by 18:00 hrs local time and it goes till early morning! I have missed most of the topics due to the timing reasons (especially in afternoon session).

The event has a lot of great topics and presenters. Topics like Public Speaking by Aaron and Keynote speech of Debra, to me, provide a great encouragement because it highlights the essential soft skills needed by an individual to deal with the everyday challenge at work or in life in general. Great event!

I have found this Summit was very well organized and for this I would like to give my sincere applauds to Ms Sohreh Ghorbani and Mr. Kamran and whole organising team .
The topics of the discussion were nicely choosen and very well crafted where the discussions have ranged from cost control to data upkeeping and data control to plan , schedule and monitor to risk quantification and project controls .
I wish and request the organising team to organise such virtual meets every quarter and keep the discussions on the current ongoing topics also so that learnings can be multiplied .
A big thank you to the Project Control Summit organising Team once again !!

The presentation of the event during the first date with the connection of several attendes speaking was democrathical but a bit caothic.

I had problem at first day to find how can I go through the conference in the website and I was confused, after going to all menu I found it. I think it wasn't clear for others, too.

Attend to the submit was a really good experiences, learn from other experience is so valuable for me.
It was a lot of information well prepared by expositors, the only thing I am not given 5 stars is that was a lot of information condensated in almost 4 days in online mode, it is hard to keep. For this opportunity missing presencial summits 🙂
